劳动教育学院简介及专业介绍-School of Labor Education and its Disciplines

劳动教育学院是学校重点建设的新兴学院,是全国首家获批开设劳动教育本科专业和公共管理(劳动教育管理方向)研究生培养项目的学院,也是中国高等教育学会劳动教育专业委员会秘书处单位,承担学校劳动教育通识课教学、劳动教育本科和研究生人才培养、劳动教育理论和政策研究等任务。


劳动教育

人才培养目标 培养政治素质过硬、劳动情怀深厚、文化素养良好、专业功底扎实、实践能力突出、师德师风优良,具有较强劳动教育课程开发与劳动教育指导能力和团队合作精神,能够在中小学、科研院所、教育管理部门或其他组织机构中从事劳动教育相关工作的高素质应用型、复合型、创新型人才。

师资情况 劳动教育专业现有专任教师8人,其中教授2名、副教授3名、讲师3名,均具有博士学位,占专任教师数的100%。教师团队理论功底扎实、学术成果丰硕,已出版专著和教材30余本,发表学术论文100余篇,承担省部级以上教改课题7项、科研课题4项,教育部产学合作协同育人项目2项。

课程设置

专业基础课:大学数学、物理学基础、教育学原理、教育研究方法、中国教育史、发展与教育心理学、中小学生生涯教育、家庭教育学、劳动教育概论等。

专业方向课:教育社会学、教育管理学、教育统计与评价、劳动关系学、劳动文化、劳动安全与管理、劳动技术基础、劳动教材分析与设计、劳动教育课程开发等。

专业选修课:比较教育学、教育行政学、班主任工作、劳动教育前沿问题研究、劳动心理学、社区组织与社区服务、食品营养与卫生管理、人际沟通方法与技巧等。

专业实践教学:家政基础与实践、农业劳动基础与实践、工业设计基础与实践、社会工作服务与实践、创意设计基础与实践、烹饪基础与实践、西点设计与制作、金工木工手工实践等。

专业特色

注重学科交叉融合。除学习教育学基本知识外,学生还将掌握人力资源管理、劳动关系、劳动与社会保障、法学、经济学、思想政治教育、社会工作等学科内容,可为学生毕业后在多学科领域求学深造打下坚实理论基础。

全面培养实践能力。在培养学生劳动教育教学和课程设计能力的同时,依托中国农业大学、北京史家教育集团、中国农业机械化科学研究院等多家在京实习实训基地,训练学生现代农业、工业、服务业、金工木工创意等通用劳动技能,为学生多岗位求职、多部门就业打下良好基础。

密切对接社会需求。注重产学研合作,在北京、上海、重庆、陕西等省(市)建立了10余家实践基地,有效满足为中小学培养劳动教育专任老师、为各地学生实践活动基地培养专业管理人员、为各级教育行政部门培养劳动教育专业督导人员等各方面社会需求。



School of Labor Education and its Disciplines

As an emerging major school of CULR, the School of Labor Education is among the first university schools in China approved to offer undergraduate program of labor education and postgraduate program of public administration (direction of labor education management).It is also the secretariat unit of the labor education committee of China Association of Higher Education. The school undertakes the tasks of teaching general courses of labor education, and cultivating undergraduate and postgraduate talents of labor education, labor education theory and policy research, etc.


Labor education

Talent cultivation objectives: The discipline is to cultivate high-quality applied, interdisciplinary and innovative talents with excellent political quality, deep love of labor, good cultural literacy, solid disciplinary foundation, outstanding practical ability and teaching ethics and virtue as well as excellent abilities of labor education course development and guidance and teamwork spirit. The graduates can take the labor-education-related jobs in primary and secondary schools, science research institutes, education authorities and other organizations.

Faculty: The discipline of labor education now has 8 full-time teachers, including 2 professors, 3 associate professors and 3 lecturers, and all of them have PhD degrees, accounting for 100%. The teaching team has a solid theoretical foundation and fruitful academic achievements. They have published 30+ monographs and textbooks and 100+ academic papers, and undertaken 7 educational reform projects and 4 scientific research projects on ministerial and provincial levels or above as well as 2 MOE's industry-school education collaboration projects.

Curriculum setting

Basic courses: College mathematics, basic physics, principles of education, education research methodology, Chinese education history, development and educational psychology, career education for primary and secondary school students, family education, introduction to labor education, etc.

Major courses: Education sociology, education management, education statistics and evaluation, labor relations, labor culture, labor safety and management, basic labor technology, labor textbook analysis and design, labor education course development, etc.

Optional courses: Comparative education, education administration, work of class adviser, study of frontier issues of labor education, labor psychology, community organization and community service, food nutrition and health management, interpersonal communication methods and skills, etc.

Practical teaching: Household management fundamentals and practice, agricultural labor fundamentals and practice, industrial design fundamentals and practice, social work service and practice, creative design fundamentals and practice, cooking fundamentals and practice, western pastry design and making, metalwork and woodwork practice, etc.

Discipline characteristics

Stressing on interdisciplinary integration: In addition to the basic knowledge of pedagogy, students are to learn other disciplines like human resource management, labor relations, labor and social security, law, economics, ideological and political education, and social work, which can lay a solid theoretical foundation for the students to pursue further study in a wider range after their graduation.

Cultivating practical ability in an all-round way: In addition to cultivating students' abilities of labor education, teaching and course design, the school makes use of the practice and drill bases of China Agriculture University, Beijing Shijia Education Group and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences Group in Beijing to develop students' general labor skills of modern agriculture, industry, service industry, metalwork and woodwork originality, etc., thus broadening their scope of employment.

Aligning with social needs closely: The school attaches importance to industry-academy-research cooperation and sets up 10+ practice bases in many provinces and municipalities like Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing and Shaanxi. It effectively satisfies different social needs of training the teachers of labor education at primary and secondary schools, training professional management personnel at student practice bases, and training labor education supervisors at the education authorities at all levels.
