中国劳动关系学院简介-About CULR

中国劳动关系学院是中华全国总工会直属的唯一一所普通本科院校。我校2003年,改制升格为普通本科院校;2012年,开展公共管理专业学位硕士研究生教育;2017年7月,《中华全国总工会 教育部关于共建中国劳动关系学院的意见》正式印发;2018年,开始在香港地区招收研究生;2018年4月30日,习近平总书记给劳模本科班学员回信,高度肯定了劳动模范为党和国家事业做出的贡献,大力倡导了新时代全社会营造尊重劳动的良好氛围,有力激励了广大劳动群众争做新时代的奋斗者;2021年11月,获批成为硕士学位授予单位,开展社会工作、新闻与传播、公共管理3个专业研究生招生、培养与学位授予工作;2022年1月,获批招收和培养国际学生资质,旨在进一步发挥学校“工会+”“劳动+”的特色优势,着重培养工会领域知华友华的国际人才。

截至2022年3月,全校共有教职工587人,其中专任教师380人。专任教师中,在聘教授46人,在聘副教授108人,博士研究生学历教师占比53.95%。学校教师中享受国务院政府特殊津贴14人,教育部高等学校教学指导委员会专家4人,教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”基金获得者1人,全国优秀教师1人,省级教学名师8人,北京市优秀教师5人,北京市青年教学名师2人,北京市青年英才计划入选者18人。

学校多年坚持弘扬中国特色、劳动特色、工会特色,坚定不移地走“特精尖”内涵式发展道路,发展成为劳动和工会领域学科门类较为齐全、完整的大学。学校设有马克思主义学院、工会学院、工会干部培训学院、劳动关系与人力资源学院、法学院、经济管理学院、公共管理学院、安全工程学院、社会工作学院、文化传播学院、酒店管理学院、劳动教育学院(劳动教育研究院)等14个学院;开设劳动关系、人力资源管理、工商管理、经济学、劳动经济学、财务管理、法学、劳动与社会保障、行政管理、政治学与行政学、社会工作、社会学、安全工程、职业卫生工程、汉语言文学、新闻学、戏剧影视文学、酒店管理、劳动教育等24个普通本科专业。

1949年建校至今,中国劳动关系学院立足工会,面向社会,服务和谐劳动关系建设,服务高素质工会干部队伍建设和产业工人队伍建设,着力培养“政治素质过硬、劳动情怀深厚、专业功底扎实、实践能力突出”的高素质应用型、复合型、创新型人才。学校劳动关系、法学、人力资源管理、社会工作、新闻学、安全工程、劳动与社会保障7个专业为国家级一流本科专业建设点,社会工作、劳动与社会保障、经济学、工商管理、行政管理、酒店管理6个专业为北京市一流本科专业建设点。

学校重视国际交流,经过十余年的探索与发展,已经形成了具有“工会+”“劳动+”特色的国际交流模式,先后与欧洲、亚洲、北美洲、南美洲19个国家及港澳台湾地区高水平大学和科研机构建立友好关系,开展多层面、多领域的学术研讨和师生交流互访活动。学校在人才联合培养、教师公派留学、国际学术研讨等领域取得丰硕成果。同时,在开展国际工会干部培训方面也积累了一定地教学和管理经验,包括2007-2008年承办了两届非洲工会干部培训班,2013年选派教师赴越南工会大学授课,自2016年起举办了三期俄罗斯工会干部培训班,2019年承办了“尼工总工会学院劳动关系课程设置培训班”等。


About China University of Labor Relations

China University of Labor Relations (CULR) is the only regular undergraduate university directly under the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU). In 2003, the university was restructured and upgraded to a regular undergraduate university. In 2012, CULR started to provide the postgraduate education of public administration. In July 2017, the Opinions of ACFTU and Ministry of Education on Jointly Building CULR was officially released. In 2018, the university started to recruit postgraduate students from Hong Kong SAR. On April 30, 2018, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee highly affirmed the contributions of model workers to the development of the CPC and the country, vigorously advocated the creation of favorable environment of respect for labor by the whole society, and strongly encouraged the people to be the strivers in the new era in his a letter of reply to the undergraduate students of Model Worker of CULR. After being approved to award master's degree in November 2021, CULR started to recruit, educate and award academic degree of three majors of social work, journalism and communication, and public administration. In January 2022, the university was approved to recruit and train international students, aiming to give full play to its advantages of "labor union +" and "labor +", and cultivate international labor union talents that have good knowledge of China and friendly attitude toward China.


As of March 2022, CULR had a total of 587 faculty members, including 380 full-time teachers, of which 46 are professors and 108 are associate professors, and 53.95% of them hold PhD degrees. The teaching force included 14 teachers receiving the special allowance of the State Council, 4 experts of the national steering committee on teaching in higher education under the Ministry of Education (MOE), 1 teacher receiving the MOE's fund "Supported by Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University" (NCET), 1 national excellent teacher, 8 provincial-level famous teachers, 5 Beijing excellent teachers, 2 Beijing famous young teachers, and 18 elected in Beijing Young Talents Program.


Over the years, CULR has been carrying forward the Chinese characteristics and labor- and trade-union strength, unswervingly followed the intensive development path of "specialty, top quality and cutting-edge academy", and became a university with full and complete disciplines of labor and trade union. The university includes 14 schools i.e. School of Marxism, School of Labor Union, School of Labor Union Cadres Training, School of Labor Relations and Human Resources, Law School, School of Economics and Management, School of Government, School of Safety Engineering, School of Social Work, Department of Cultural Popularization, School of Hotel Management, and School of Labor Education (Labor Education Research Institute) and offers 24 common undergraduate majors such as labor relations, human resource management, business administration, economics, labor economics, financial management, law, labor and social security, public administration, political and administrative sciences, social work, sociology, safety engineering, vocational health engineering, Chinese language and literature, journalism, drama, film & television literature, hotel management and labor education.


Since the founding in 1949, CULR took a labor-union-based and society-oriented approach to help cultivate harmonious labor relations, high-quality labor union cadres and industrial workers, and concentrated on the education and training of high-quality practical, interdisciplinary and innovative talents featuring "trustworthy political quality, deep love of labor, solid professional knowledge and excellent practical abilities". The university has seven majors under national first-class undergraduate programs, i.e. labor relations, law, human resource management, social work, journalism, safety engineering, and labor & social security, as well as six majors under Beijing first-class undergraduate programs, i.e. social work, labor & social security, economics, business administration, public administration and hotel management.


CULR attaches great importance to international exchanges. Through more than a decade of exploration and development, CULR has formed an international exchange pattern with "labor union +" and "labor +" characteristics. The university has established friendly relations with high-level universities and science research institutes in 19 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and South America as well as Chinese Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions to conduct multi-dimensional and disciplinary academic seminars and the mutual visits and exchanges of teachers and students. In addition, the university has accumulated teaching and management experience in international training of labor union staff by organizing two training sessions for African labor union cadres in 2007 and 2008, sending teachers to Vietnam Trade Union University for teaching in 2013, holding three training courses for Russian labor union cadres since 2016 and hosting the Labor Relation Curriculum Setting Seminar GEFONT-TUPI-ACFTU in 2019.
