    文中的dating etiquette就是“约会礼仪”的意思，其中etiquette作名词，意为“礼仪；礼节”，如：The rules of etiquette are not so strict nowadays.（如今的礼仪规则已不那么严格了。）
    需要注意的是，date和appointment均含有“约会”的意思，但是date表示异性间“社交约会”，如：make a date (with sb.) 与(某人)约会，而appointment通常指工作方面的约见，如：make an appointment to see the manager（约见经理）
    第二段中的compatible是形容词，意为“一致的，协调的”，如：Their interests are not compatible with ours.（他们的利益和我们的利益不一致。）
