In 2019, CULR selected a delegation of teachers and students to attend the United Nations Youth Leaders Summer Elite Class Program at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization in Turin, Italy. Participants included students and faculty from 16 universities such as Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Jilin University. CULR was designated as the secretariat unit of the "United Nations Youth Elite Talent Education Exchange Alliance."
