Currently, the School of Culture and Communication has three undergraduate departments: Chinese Language and Literature Department, Journalism and Communication Department, and Drama and Film Studies Department, as well as a Master's degree in Journalism and Communication. In June 2022, the Journalism major was approved as a national first-class undergraduate specialty construction site. The school currently has 43 full-time teachers, including 5 professors, 12 associate professors, and 33 postdocs. The faculty members come from top universities such as Peking University, Renmin University, Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University, Central Academy of Drama, Central Conservatory of Music, Communication University of China, Beijing Film Academy, etc., with solid academic backgrounds, rich experience, and a strong sense of responsibility. The disciplines cover literature, art studies, journalism and communication, drama and film studies, linguistics, and other fields.
