The School of Labor Education is a key emerging school of the CULR. It is the first in the country to be approved to offer a undergraduate major in labor education and a graduate program in public administration (labor education management direction). It is also the secretariat of the Labor Education Professional Committee of China Association of Higher Education, responsible for teaching general education courses in labor education, talent training in undergraduate and graduate programs in labor education, as well as research on labor education theory and policies.
The School of Labor Education has 8 full-time teachers, including 2 professors, 3 associate professors, and 3 lecturers, all of whom have doctoral degrees.
The teachers of the school have been deeply involved in the formulation of the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Strengthening Labor Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era" and the Ministry of Education's "Guidelines for Labor Education in Primary and Secondary Schools (Trial)". Three teachers were appointed as experts in labor education for the new round of undergraduate education teaching assessment by the Ministry of Education, and another three teachers were selected for the Xinhua Ideological and Political Education Special Expert Pool.
