On June 21st, led by Vice President Liu Fei, a group of 5 people from the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics visited our school. President Liu Xiangbing and Vice President Li Huadong warmly received the Japanese delegation. Heads of School of Advanced Vocational Education and related functional departments participated in the event.
During the meeting, on behalf of all the teachers and students of our school, President Liu Xiangbing congratulated the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics on its 55th anniversary and expressed his appreciation for the good cooperation between the two sides. He hoped that the two schools would continue to cooperate and contribute to the cultural exchange and higher education cooperation between China and Japan. Mr. Liu also sent his regards through video for the 55th anniversary of the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics. Vice President Li Huadong and Vice President Liu Fei discussed thoroughly about the follow-up cooperation and both of them expressed that they would continue to improve the quality and scope of cooperation on the basis of the existing good cooperative relationship and seek more exchanges and learning opportunities for teachers and students. Afterwards, Mr. Liu Fei and other members of the delegation visited our school history museum, campus and some teaching and training facilities.
Since its establishment in 1963, Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics has had a history of 55 years. In 2010, our school and Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics established a friendly cooperative relationship. Over the years, the two schools have maintained communication between teachers and students and mutual visits. The "3+2" joint master's training program is very popular among students. A total of more than 100 students from our school have participated in the cooperative project and went to Japan to pursue the master's degree in applied information technology.
