From March 1 to 7, five student representatives from CULR, led by Prof. Liu Yuanwen, Deputy Director of the Trade Union School, attended the 2008 Social and Economic Forum for International Students hosted by the Academy of Labor and Social Relations in Russia. The event included representatives from more than 10 countries, including China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Ukraine, and Germany.
During the forum, the five student representatives presented valuable insights into China's labor law, employment policy, migrant workers' issues, labor relations, regional labor force development, and other topics. They also had in-depth discussions with the representatives of various countries on labor market, youth employment, international labor issues, and other topics.
The student delegation also visited the Academy of Labor and Social Relations during their stay in Russia. They gained a deeper understanding of the Academy's history, characteristics, and curriculum during their visit. The visit to Russia not only promoted mutual understanding and communication between the two universities, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation and development.
