In order to further strengthen the international construction, improve the level of international exchanges and the quality of international talent cultivation, and steadily promote the qualification application work of recruiting foreign students, our university and Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU) carried out online communications on international exchanges and cooperation on the afternoon of July 18th.

Liu Ying, Director of the International Office of BTBU, said that as friendly neighbors, the online communication between the two universities during COVID-19 was quite a good attempt, laying a solid foundation for the two universities to learn from each other, and develop together in international exchanges and cooperation. She mainly introduced BTBU's development of international exchanges and cooperation, education of foreign students in China, international cooperation programs and the dispatch of students, overseas exchanges of teachers and other work in recent years, and made detailed responses to our school’s regulations on the 14th five-year plan, foreign students' qualification application, foreign teachers' employment and other related issues proposed by our school.

On behalf of our school, Qiao Jian, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, sincerely thanked BTBU’s warm reception and detailed introduction. He pointed out that BTBU had outstanding achievements in international exchanges and abundant experience. He said that this research had gained a lot, which was of great guiding significance to the preparation of international exchange and cooperation special items in the 14th five-year plan of our university and the development of daily international exchanges. On the basis of learning these excellent experience, our school would continue to strive in a down-to-earth manner, hoping that both sides would continue to strengthen exchanges, co-construction, help each other and make progress hand in hand.

As an important initiative to realize the vision of "domestically first-class and internationally renowned in labor relations and trade unions", the online communication further strengthened our university's connection with other universities in Beijing, provided new strategies in developing international exchanges during the 14th five-year plan of our school, improving the quality of talents cultivation in international communication, establishing and improving the international communication management mechanisms, expanding international exchange programs and existing platforms.
