On April 19, 2011, a special seminar organized by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) and the Confederation of Christian Trade Unions of Belgium (ACV) was held at the China University of Labor Relations (CULR). Jiang Guangping, Secretary of the Secretariat of the ACFTU, attended the seminar and delivered a speech, and Li Deqi, President of the CULR, chaired the seminar.

Mr. Luc Cortebeeck, President of the ACV and Vice President of the International Trade Union Confederation, and six Belgian experts, attended the seminar. Mr. Luc Cortebeeck delivered a keynote speech on the development and challenges of trade unions and social security work in Belgium and Europe. Professor Shen Qinqin, Vice President of the CULR, and Professor Jiang Ying, Director of the Law School, delivered keynote speeches on the development of labor relations and legal system construction in China, respectively.

Nearly 20 experts, scholars, young teachers, and some students from the CULR attended the seminar and engaged in discussions and exchanges on relevant topics.
