From February 21 to 29, at the invitation of the Faculty of Modern Chinese Studies at Aichi University in Japan, a delegation of 21 teachers and students of our university, led by Yue Ling and Chi Zhenhe, went to Nagoya, Toyohashi and Kariya in Japan for a nine-day social practice.
Our university's students were divided into the enterprise group and the public service and education group. Together with the students of Aichi University in Japan, they visited Zhangshu's Special Support School, Mercedes-Benz Toyohashi New Car Assembly Center, Toyohashi International Association, Toyohashi Arts Theatre PLAT, Future Children's Museum, J&C Corporation, Nagaya Hospital, Shinkawa Elementary School, DENSO in Kariya, Tsutsuji-no-Sato Comprehensive Nursing Home, Japan-China Friendship Association in Toyohashi, etc. During the research, our university's students studied, exchanged and discussed the cultural labor-capital relations and public service education of some enterprises in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, focusing on the four research directions of "enterprise labor-capital relations", "enterprise culture", "public service" and "public education".
After the research, Chinese and Japanese university students completed the special research reports of each group under the guidance of teachers, and held a special report meeting at Aichi University on February 27 to present and report their research results and experiences. The research results of our university's students were highly appreciated by Japanese teachers and students.
At the seminar, Yue Ling, a teacher of the School of Labor Union of our university, Li Suyu, a student representative, and Mr. Abe Satoru, Director of the Faculty of Modern Chinese Studies at Aichi University in Japan, gave speeches on such topics as continuously strengthening cultural exchanges between Chinese and Japanese university students, enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between young people of the two countries, and jointly promoting talent cultivation and educational cooperation. Professor Gao Mingjie from the Faculty of Modern Chinese Studies at Aichi University summarized and commented on the research results, fully affirming the critical spirit and the earnest, rigorous, and mutually supportive academic spirit demonstrated by the Chinese and Japanese university students during their internships and field studies. On behalf of the university, Yue Ling expressed her gratitude to Aichi University for its strong support and cooperation over the years, and presented souvenirs.
This is the second time that our university has organized a student delegation to Japan for social practice. The two universities have established a bilateral social investigation and exchange mechanism, which helps Chinese and Japanese students enhance their understanding of each other's social development and further strengthen the friendly exchanges between Chinese and Japanese young students.
