A delegation of the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions(COFTU), led by Ms. Volken Mariana, head of COFTU's International Affairs, visited the CULR on the afternoon of March 5. President Li Deqi met with the guests and participated in the meeting with relevant representatives from the CULR's School of Cadre Training, Foreign Affairs Office, and other departments.
During the meeting, President Li Deqi, and He Bufeng, Executive Vice Director of the Cadre Training Institute, presented the CULR's characteristics and basic information on trade union cadre training to the guests. They also had in-depth discussions and exchanges on issues such as trade union cadre training, trade union collective bargaining, and trade union work in both countries. The two sides agreed to cooperate and exchange information in areas of mutual interest.
COFTU was founded in 1907 and is one of the largest trade unions in Finland. With over 1 million members and 21 industrial unions, it primarily represents blue-collar workers and has extensive connections and exchanges with trade unions in China.
