On the afternoon of May 6, Professor Däubler of the University of Bremen, Germany was invited to visit the China University of Labor Relations (CULR) and give an academic lecture titled "Wages and Collective Bargaining" to the teachers and students of the CULR. The lecture was hosted by Professor Liu Yufang, Director of the Academic Affairs Office.
Professor Däubler provided a detailed introduction to the political economy, labor relations, union organization, employee wages, and collective bargaining situation in Germany. The lecture painted a vivid picture of the labor-management situation in Germany for the teachers and students. Professor Däubler also answered questions from the teachers and students present.
Before the lecture, Professor Li Deqi, President of the CULR, and some teachers had discussions with Professor Däubler and his delegation on wage negotiation issues.
