On February 28, Chen Zhengren, Liao Hongzhang and Cai Kuangzhong, three professors from National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, were invited to conduct an academic exchange visit on occupational safety and health in the School of Safety and Engineering. Faculty members and some students from the School of Safety Engineering participated in the exchange meeting.

Professor Meng Yanhua, director of the Department of Safety Engineering, welcomed the three professors and introduced the status and development direction of the occupational safety and health profession in the School of Safety Engineering of the CULR. The three professors respectively introduced the research topics and latest achievements of National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology in occupational health under the themes of "Disaster Review of New and High-tech Industries in China’s Taiwan Region", "Hazard Characteristics and Research Challenges of Silane", "Special Gas Supply System" and "Fire Characteristics of Science and Technology Plant and Future Development of Fire Protection Design". 

After that, the faculty and students of the School of Safety Engineering interacted with the three professors on relevant issues. Finally, Professor Meng Yanhua made a summary and once again thanked the three professors on behalf of the CULR for their wonderful speeches, and hoped that the two universities would continue to strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation in the professional field.
