On November 12-15, a delegation of four from Trade Union University headed by its new rector, Fan Wenhe, visited the CULR for friendly exchanges.
During the visit, President Li Deqi met with Rector Fan Wenhe and his delegation. Leaders from the Foreign Affairs Office, School of Cadre Training, School of Economics and Management, and other relevant departments attended the meeting. President Li Deqi extended a warm welcome to the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on future cooperation and communication, and had in-depth discussions on the basic situation, characteristics, and issues of cadre training in the trade unions of the two universities. They also drafted preliminary implementation plans for sending teachers to the Trade Union University and Vietnamese trade union cadres to the CULR for training. In addition, the two sides exchanged views on library management and development, as well as faculty, curriculum design, student exchange, etc. in the school of Economics and Management, and signed a new cooperation agreement between the two universities.
During the visit, Qu Zengguo, Party Secretary of the CULR, and Vice President Li Huadong met with the delegation from the Trade Union University on separate occasions. The delegation also visited the CULR’s Zhuozhou campus.
