On March 27, at the invitation of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, a delegation of four from the Sudanese Workers' Trade Union Federation led by President Yousif Ali visited the CULR. Vice President Wu Wanxiong met with the delegation.

During the meeting, Vice President Wu Wanxiong warmly welcomed the delegation of the Sudanese Workers' Trade Union Federation and briefly on the development history and current status of education and teaching of the CULR. Liu Yuanwen, Vice President of the School of Labor Union, introduced to the delegation the CULR's research on trade unions, and Li Bingbin, Deputy Secretary of the Institute of Trade Union Cadre Training, introduced the CULR's cadre training work. President Yousif Ali thanked the CULR for their warm reception and said that this meeting has further deepened the understanding between the two sides. He hopes to have the chance to further exchange and cooperate with the CULR in areas of mutual interest in the future. Afterwards, both sides exchanged gifts and the Sudanese Workers' Trade Union Federation visited the CULR's history museum and library.

Established in 1950, the Sudanese Workers' Trade Union Federation is the only national worker organization in Sudan, that maintains a traditional friendly relationship with the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU).
