At the invitation of the International Academic Exchange Center of the China University of Labor Relations (CULR), a delegation consisting of 8 members from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, led by Brandel Willy, Mayor of the Lutry City, paid a friendly visit to the CULR on the afternoon of May 27, 2009. Professor Shen Qinqin, Vice President of the CULR, received the delegation on behalf of the university.

Vice President Shen Qinqin first welcomed the delegation on behalf of the university and introduced the history, majors, cadre training, and higher vocational education of the CULR to the delegation. The delegation members expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the development, current situation, and system of Swiss trade unions, as well as the departmental settings of the University of Lausanne. Both sides also discussed future cooperation in the fields of cultural communication and public management between the two universities.

Li Shuang, Director of the School of Culture and Communication, Huang Renmin, Director of the School of Public Policy and Management, and Lu Xiang, Executive Director of the International Academic Exchange Center, participated in the exchange activity.
