From October 28 to 30, at the invitation of the CULR, a delegation of teachers and students from universities including the Academy of Labor and Social Relations, the International University “MITSO”, the Trade Union University and the Aichi University of Japan paid a friendly visit to the CULR and participated in the Third International Seminar for College Students on the theme of "Social Harmony and Contemporary Youth's Ambition" hosted by the CULR. President Li Deqi, Vice Presidents Liu Lihong and Wu Wanxiong, and heads of various departments (schools) and related functional departments attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, President Li Deqi gave an opening speech and warmly welcomed the delegations from the four universities. He pointed out that social responsibility is an indispensable quality of contemporary youth and is crucial to the development and progress of society. The young people are the pulse of the times. They're vigorous and ambitious, symbolizing the hopes and dreams of the times. Over the years, the China University of Labor Relations has maintained long-term friendly cooperation with the four participating universities. He hopes that this seminar will provide a platform for young people from the five countries to learn and communicate. He hopes that the participating teachers and students will think deeply, discuss together, and inspire each other on the theme of the conference, so as to broaden their horizons of learning in the integration and collision of ideas.

At the seminar, delegations from Russia, Belarus, Vietnam, Japan and the CULR issued thematic reports, explaining the responsibilities and missions of contemporary youth from multiple dimensions such as the state, society, school, and family. Nearly 100 student representatives of the CULR participated in the seminar and had extensive and free exchanges with delegations on the theme of the seminar in the panel discussion session. Young talents expressed their opinions and pushed the seminar to the climax.

After the seminar, President Li Deqi presented certificates and souvenirs to the members of the delegations of various countries, wishing for a long-standing friendship between the five universities.

The success of the seminar provided a good international exchange opportunity for the CULR students, broadened the international vision of the majority of teachers and students, deepened the friendship between the five universities, provided a good platform for exchanges and cooperation between the young people from those universities, and also won high praise from foreign delegations unanimously.
