From September 21 to 25, 2015, at the invitation of theTrade Union University, Qu Zengguo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CULR, and 4 members of his party visited the University in Hanoi, Vietnam.

On September 21, the delegation of the CULR held talks with Mr. Fan Wenhe, Secretary and President of the Party Committee of the Trade Union University, Dr. Nguyen Deqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, Ms. Nguyen Chiuhe, Director of the International Exchange Office, and responsible comrades from the Department of Scientific Research, Student Work Office, Department of Economic Management and other departments of the University. Mr. Fan Wenhe, Secretary and President, first warmly welcomed the members of the delegation on behalf of the Trade Union University. Dr. Nguyen Deqing, Deputy Secretary and Vice President, briefed the members of the delegation on the basic situation of the Trade Union University and the basic situation of the training of trade union cadres. On behalf of the visiting delegation members, Secretary Qu Zengguo of the CULR expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of the Trade Union University, and reviewed the friendly visits and cooperation exchanges between the two universities. He said that the Trade Union University and the CULR have common and similar situations in many aspects. The Memorandum of Cooperation signed by the two universities has laid a good foundation for the cooperation and exchange projects between teachers and students. The CULR very much welcomes the in-depth exchanges and cooperation of the leaders, teachers and students of the Trade Union University through visits, lectures, academic meetings and other forms.

During the talks, the two sides also discussed and reached a preliminary consensus on a cooperation project on the training of trade union officials between the two universities, sending teachers from the CULR to the Trade Union University to teach and conduct academic research.

In Hanoi, Vietnam, the delegation also visited the campus of the Trade Union University and its history museum exhibition, and on September 25, the delegation successfully completed its mission.

The Trade Union University is a friendly university of the CULR based on agreement. The friendly visit of the CULR delegation to Vietnam has deepened mutual understanding and friendship, and laid a further foundation for more in-depth and effective cooperation between the two universities.
