On the afternoon of June 28, Liu Xiangbing, Secretary of the Party Committee of China University of Labor Relations (CULR), led a delegation to hold a symposium with the City University of Macau delegation at the Zhuhai Workers' Cultural Palace. Kong Fanqing, Vice Chairman of the Council of City University of Macau, and Ip Kuai Peng, Vice Rector, attended the symposium. Li Ke, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC CULR Committee and Vice President of CULR, together with representatives from the Graduate School of the City University of Macau, CULR's Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs, Scientific Research Department, Institute of Labor Relations and Trade Unions, and Graduate School, attended the symposium.

Party Secretary Liu Xiangbing stated that the purpose of this meeting is to deepen the consensus reached by both sides in March this year on joint student training, scientific research cooperation, and academic exchanges, to refine the cooperation methods and implementation approaches, to promote the signing of the 'China University of Labor Relations and City University of Macau Memorandum of Understanding', and to jointly enhance the level of education, teaching, and talent cultivation, to cultivate more outstanding talent who are patriotic and dedicated to serving the nation and Macao.

Kong Fanqing shared City University of Macau's experience in internationalized education, curriculum design, and cooperation with local enterprises in Macao. She pointed out that City University of Macau hopes to further enhance its teaching and research standards through deeper cooperation with CULR, and to make greater contributions to the social and economic development of the Macao SAR.
Li Ke presented the plan for establishing a regular cooperation mechanism between the two universities in the next stage, including pragmatic cooperation in regular exchanges, joint training, faculty exchange, academic activities, scientific research cooperation, and information sharing.
Ip Kuai Peng discussed topics such as academic seminars, research project applications, curriculum development, cooperation on Taiwan study tours, and faculty exchange and joint appointment between the two schools.
During the symposium, both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the content of the "Memorandum of Understanding (Draft) between China University of Labor Relations and City University of Macau", and reached multiple consensuses. Both parties agreed to sign the memorandum in person at a later date.

This meeting marks that the substantial cooperation between CULR and City University of Macau in education, scientific research, and talent cultivation has entered a new stage.
