A delegation of five representatives from the Trade Union University, led by President and Party Secretary Yang Wenchao, visited the China University of Labor Relations (CULR) from October 18 to 22. Li Deqi, President of the CULR, Jiang Ying, Director of the Law School, Qiao Jian, Director of the School of Labor Relations and Human Resources, and Wu Wanxiong, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, held talks with the delegation members. The Trade Union University mainly came to discuss the cooperation to train Vietnamese trade union cadres. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on organizational forms, teaching plans, teacher preparation and other cooperation issues. It was initially decided to set up the first Vietnamese trade union cadre training course with curriculum design provided by the CULR at the Trade Union University in March 2012, and the relevant teachers from the CULR will be sent to teach at the Trade Union University. At the same time, the Trade Union University will also organize Vietnamese trade union cadres to come to the CULR from time to time for training from 2012.
Furthermore, the delegation also visited Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and Shaanxi Labor College, and exchanged views on topics of common interest with relevant leaders of the two institutes.
