From July 2 to 6, at the invitation of the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics, a delegation of four headed by Vice Dean of Higher Vocational College Zhen Shaobo paid a friendly visit to the college.
At the conference, Mr. Liu Fei, the leader of the China-Japan project, first warmly welcomed the CULR's faculty delegation on behalf of the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics, and then introduced the basic situation of the college as well as the situation of students studying abroad to the delegation members. He hoped to have in-depth exchanges and cooperation with the CULR through various forms such as visits, lectures, and academic conferences. Both sides had discussions and exchanges on the course arrangement, talent cultivation, and student employment for the cooperative majors between the two universities, and discussed the collaborations on the diploma to master's degree program for students who major in tourism and hospitality in the Higher Vocational College.
On this trip, the delegation also visited the Automation Control Laboratory, recording studio, and related training facilities at the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics, and exchanged ideas with the students to learn about their learning and living conditions in Japan.
Through this exchange visit to Japan, the delegation has gained further understanding and reflections on the "free and independent" educational philosophy and the "high-quality and diversified" professional talent training models of the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics. At the same time, the visit has enhanced the friendship between the two universities and laid a solid foundation for more specific and effective cooperation in the future.
