On the morning of September 15, Professor Klaus F. Zimmermann, Director of the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) in Bonn, Germany, led a delegation of 3 people to pay a friendly visit to the China University of Labor Relations (CULR). Professor Shen Qinqin, Vice President of the CULR, and Professor Jiang Ying, Director of the Law School, exchanged views with the delegation. The two sides discussed the impact of the current economic crisis on employment and the labor market, labor social security, and the government's response measures, including fiscal subsidies.
Both parties hope to have more frequent and closer exchanges and cooperation in academic discussions, and IZA also expects the faculty of the CULR to visit IZA.
