To promote fine traditional Chinese culture and enrich campus cultural life, CULR Labor Union and the Youth League Committee jointly held a tea culture-themed sharing activity titled "Tea Aroma Adorns Campus, Poetic Grace Nurtures Youth" in Room 909, Zhiyuan Building on the afternoon of November 28. Teachers and students participated enthusiastically, encountering tradition at tea tables and sharing an elegant and engaging journey into tea culture.

Adopting an immersive experience combined with cultural edification, the event featured tea artists in traditional costumes performing the tea ceremony with flowing grace: lifting pots, pouring water and serving tea in smooth, seamless movements. The tea liquor was bright and red with a pure, mellow and lingering fragrance, with every gesture embodying the refined charm of tea culture. During the tea culture lecture session, the tea artist systematically explained the millennia-long tea culture evolution and the flavor characteristics of five types of tea. The accessible and insightful presentation helped teachers and students quickly gain a structured understanding of tea culture.

The hands‑on experience brought the event to a climax. Under the careful guidance of the tea artisans, participants warmed cups, added tea leaves, rinsed and brewed tea step by step, mastering the skills of gongfu tea preparation. Through the process of brewing and serving, they experienced the quiet elegance of tea culture. In the following interactive group quiz, teachers and students engaged in blind tasting of five distinct tea varieties through visual inspection, aroma appreciation, and palate evaluation, each enjoying a unique sensory surprise. The venue was filled with tea aroma mingled with laughter, fully demonstrating the appeal and warmth of tea culture.
This event not only offered an elegant space for relaxation, but also made traditional Chinese tea culture tangible and approachable through experiential learning, effectively enhancing teachers' and students' recognition and affection for traditional Chinese culture. Going forward, CULR will continue to act as a bridge to promote fine traditional culture and launch more cultural activities, enabling classic culture to take root on campus and be inherited from generation to generation.
