On May 29, the "Modern Society, Trade Union and Youth Issues" organized by the Belarusian International University MISTO was held by both online and offline means. Nikola Vasilyevich Kuznetsov, dean of the Homyel college of MISTO delivered an opening remark.
Themed "Modern Society, Trade Union and Youth Issues" and centered on four core topics of the study of the historical memories of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), opportunities and challenges for logistics and marketing development from the perspective of national economic security, cutting-edge law theories and innovative paths of judicial practice, and modern linguistics studies in cross-cultural communication, the event was attended by the representative students from Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Perm National Research Polytechnic University, Saratov State Academy of Law, Tambov State Technical University, MISTO, and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, together with nearly 40 young scholars including Dr. Ding Wanjing and junior undergraduate student Yan Yuezhang from CULR's Law School, and junior undergraduate student Li Tianyu from CULR's School of Culture and Communication.
Dr. Ding Wanjing made a presentation titled "How Do Trade Unions Protect Workers' Personality Rights in the Digitalization Era", to delve into the new requirements on rights protection by trade unions caused by technological transformation. Yan Yuezhang made a presentation titled "Legal Theory Review and Practice of Protecting the Rest Right of Laborers Subject to Working Hours of New Employment Forms—A Case Study of Delivery Men in Beijing", to analyze the predicament and solutions for protecting the rest right of laborers of new employment forms from the perspective of working hours. Li Tianyu submitted a paper titled "Error Analysis of English Native Speakers Learning Specific Chinese Words from the Perspective of Interlanguage–Zai vs. You, Hai vs. Ye, Huozhe vs. Haishi".
Attending this event further broadened the international horizons of CULR's teachers and students, improved their academic innovation abilities and international competitiveness, showcased the university's disciplinary characteristics and research outcomes, and effectively expanded the university's international influence in relevant disciplinary fields, thereby propelling the internationalization process of discipline building and talent cultivation.
