On April 2, at the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Keele University and the China University of Labor Relations (CULR), Dr. Cao Xuebing and Dr. Li Xiafei from Keele Business School, along with Ms. Lynn Wu, the Regional Manager of the Keele University in China, visited the CULR for a return visit. Following the visit of Party Secretary Liu Xiangbing and his team to Keele University in 2023, the two universities once again had in-depth discussions on future cooperation matters.
During the meeting, Vice President Li Ke warmly welcomed Dr. Cao Xuebing and his delegation, congratulated Keele University on its 75th anniversary, and introduced the red gene, historical evolution, educational characteristics, development vision, and outstanding achievements of the CULR in recent years. He said that since 2019, the friendship between Keele University and the CULR has deepened, with significant exchange results. In the future, the two universities will strengthen the ties and deepen cooperation in research, student exchange, and academic platform construction.
Dr. Cao Xuebing expressed gratitude for the warm reception at the CULR and reviewed the important achievements of Secretary Liu Xiangbing's visit to Keele University. He introduced the progress of the preparations for Keele University's 75th anniversary and the advantages of cultivating business talents at Keele University, expressing the willingness to deepen cooperation with the CULR.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the historical museum of the CULR, comprehensively understanding the CULR's characteristics, faculty team, enrollment and employment, teaching and research, international exchanges, campus culture, and other aspects.
During the visit, the delegation had academic exchanges with the School of Labor Relations and Human Resources. Dr. Cao Xuebing shared the research advantages and main research areas of the Keele Business School. Dr. Li Xiafei and Ms. Lynn Wu explained the specific content and process of Keele University's enrollment of international students, and answered questions raised by the students on site.
Keele University's return visit to the CULR deepened the cooperation between the two universities in teaching, research, and talent cultivation, providing a platform for mutual learning, mutual reference, and jointly cultivating high-quality talents with an international perspective.
