During the meeting, President Bernard Terrany, who is in charge of international affairs at the French IPAG Business School, met with the delegation and extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He fully recognized the joint training program held for many years by the two schools and looked forward to the start of the 4+2 joint training program in cooperation with the Department of Business Administration of our school. He introduced the significant progress IPAG has made in the improvement of teaching qualifications and campus expansion and construction. He hoped to continuously strengthen the cooperation with our school and gradually expand the fields and forms of cooperation. On behalf of the school, Vice President Li Huadong expressed his gratitude to President Bernard Terrany for the reception. He pointed out that there were about 20 students majoring in hotel management participated in the joint training program and their professional knowledge, practical skills and language proficiency have been greatly improved, which has laid a good foundation for the two schools to cooperate in a broader field. Yan Xiaofei, head of the Department of Business Administration and Zhou Baishun, Party Secretary of the School of Advanced Vocational Education also discussed with President Bernard Terrany on the specific conditions, implementation details and curriculum reform of the joint training program.
The delegation members visited some student representatives at IPAG, listened to their learning experience and plans about the future career, learned about their life in France and expressed the school’s concern for them. They encouraged the students to adapt to the new environment as soon as possible, make full use of the time to learn, continue to experience and grow and be fully prepared for the future in order to build their career path with a better start. The delegation members also communicated with the teachers teaching professional courses, visited the teaching area and other infrastructure in the Paris campus and gained a deeper understanding of the teaching management, student management and campus construction of the school.
The IPAG Business School is a famous business school in France. Established in 1965, it is a business school that awards bachelor and master diplomas acknowledged by France, and is also a formal business school recognized by the Ministry of Education of China. The School of Advanced Vocational Education began to cooperate with IPAG in 2012 to organize the successive undergraduate and postgraduate study program. The Department of Business Administration also signed a cooperative agreement with IPAG in 2018, agreeing to exchange educational and scientific research resources and cooperate in the "4+2" undergraduate plus postgraduate program.
