From February 27 to March 6, at the invitation of the Faculty of Modern Chinese Studies, Aichi University, a 28-member delegation of teachers and students from our unviersity led by Cao Rong and Zhao Mingfei went to Aichi Prefecture in Japan for an 8-day social practice. The activity has received strong support from relevant departments and companies in Aichi Prefecture.
In the process of practice, our teachers and students were divided into a cultural group and a business group. They respectively visited the organizations like Nagoya Disaster Prevention Center, International Student Hall, Toyota Municipal International Exchange Association and Kanie-cho Feeding Center, and the enterprises like Asahi Shimbun Nagoya Factory, Brother Industries Ltd., Kewpie Koromo Factory and Aichi Yakult Factory. Through visits and workshops, teachers and students of our unviersity focused on the local traditional culture in Japan, the education and employment of local foreign students, the benefits and treatment of employees, and the training system for talents, analyzed the information in detail and formed a survey report.
On the morning of March 5, a meeting on Japanese society survey and research report on local Chinese research was held at THE Aichi University's Nagoya Campus. Mr. Deng Wei, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Nagoya, attended and delivered a speech. The university’s students from both countries reported the results of on-site internship and investigation at the meeting.
This practical exchange to Japan has provided a platform for our students to broaden their horizons and enhance their ability and level of social practice, and has further enhanced the mutual understanding between young students in the two universities and played a positive role in promoting friendly cooperation between the two universities.
