At the invitation of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations (ATISO), Yan Hui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China University of Labor Relations (CULR), led a delegation of four people to visit the ATISO from March 23 to 28 and participated in the Academy's 90th anniversary celebration. The accompanying delegation members included Associate Professor Wang Xiangqian from the Law School, Lecturer Xu Yanli from the Trade Union School, and Director Wu Wanxiong of the Foreign Affairs Office.
During the visit, the delegation met with the President of the ATISO, Mr. Shulus, and other key leaders of the ATISO. The two sides unanimously agreed that on the basis of the memorandum of cooperation signed in 2007, the two universities should carry out substantive cooperation in such areas as student exchange, exchange of visits by teachers and administrators, and joint postgraduate training projects, and make a specific work plan for 2009. The delegation also had exchanges with the heads and teachers of various departments of the ATISO, learned about the basic situation of teaching, scientific research, student work, and enrollment of foreign students at the school, and visited the Academy's library, student dormitories, and other teaching and living facilities.

On March 25, the delegation attended an international academic seminar hosted by the ATISO on the theme of "Vocational Training, Labor Mobility, and Labor Force Transfer". Yan Hui, Secretary of the Party Committee of CULR, delivered a speech on "Chinese Migrant Workers: Mobility, Issues, and Responses", which was highly praised by representatives from various countries in attendance. During the seminar, the delegation also had exchanges with leaders and experts from trade union schools in Ukraine, Vietnam, Mongolia, Belarus, and other countries.
Additionally, the delegation also visited the Research Center of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions and had exchanges with the Cadre Training Institute of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions.
