On behalf of the CULR, Vice President Wu Wanxiong extended a warm welcome to all the teachers and students attending the online opening ceremony. He said that the CULR and the ATISO have maintained a long-term relationship of cooperation and exchange, and since the establishment of the intercollegiate relationship, both sides have conducted mutual visits of teachers and students and academic exchange activities in diverse forms. As the CULR's first Chinese language program, this course marks a new starting point for deepening friendly cooperation between the two universities and a new window for young Russian students to better understand China. He expected to see more young Russian students learning the Chinese language in the future and wished this Chinese language course a big success.
Vice President Zhukovsky Vladimir of the ATISO highly recognized the positive meaning of the Chinese language program in his speech, expressed gratitude for the strong support of the CULR, and encouraged students to learn Chinese well and make positive contributions to broader education cooperation and exchanges between Russia and China.
