On November 1st, the Symposium on “International Perspectives on Employment Relations and Labour Regulation” was held in Melbourne, Australia. It was hosted by the Business School of Monash University and co-organized by our school. Yan Xiaofei, member of University Council, Director of Scientific Research Office and and Director of Economic Management Department and more than 30 scholars from our university and universities in Australia such as Monash University, the University of Sydney, the University of Melbourne, Essex University in the United Kingdom, Japan Labor Policy and Training Institutions, Mahidol University in Thailand and Oberlin College of America attended the conference.

During his stay in Australia, Professor Yan Xiaofei and associate Professor Ye Ying also held discussions with Vice President and Directors of Business School of Monash University, conducting in-depth discussions on ways and contents to further exchange and cooperate between the two universities.

This academic seminar is the first scientific research activity jointly organized by our university and Monash University after reaching a cooperation agreement, which marked the official launch of a series of scientific research cooperation between the two universities.
