Professor Ranajit Chakrabarty, Director of the Department of Business Management of the University of Calcutta, recently visited the China University of Labor Relations (CULR) at the invitation of the CULR's International Academic Exchange Center. Li Huadong, Vice President of the CULR, met with Mr. Ranajit Chakrabarty. Both sides introduced basic information about their respective universities and had extensive discussions on future student exchanges, accepting Indian students to study Chinese in China, and cooperation in the field of finance and economics.

Founded in 1857, the University of Calcutta is one of the three oldest and largest comprehensive universities in India.
