President Liu Xiangbing delivered a passionate speech to the participating students, affirming their well-presented reports, the innovative and practical form of study visits, and the excellent organization and implementation of the Foreign Affairs Office and Academic Affairs Office. He hoped that more students could participate in foreign exchange activities in the future, and committed that the university would make greater efforts to organize more students to visit overseas universities for practical activities.
Vice President Wu Wanxiong presented the certificates of completion to the student representatives, which were awarded by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
At the report meeting, students from the visiting group played a video, recording their life and learning during the visit. The English-subtitled video featured their practical training in Hong Kong Special Administrative’s enterprises, sharing what they have learned from four aspects: professional learning, soft skills, interpersonal communication, and cultural environment. The students also showed the teachers and schoolmates present how they applied the acquired professional knowledge and communication skills to practice in the form of role-playing.
