On March 12-15, 2012, Professor Jiang Ying, Director of the Law School, visited Vietnam to teach an advanced training course on labor relations.
In recent years, as Vietnam adopted the market economy system, labor relations have undergone significant changes, and are becoming increasingly complex. Currently, the Labor Law is underway to revise. In order to improve the ability of trade unions to participate, the Vietnamese trade unions hosted an "Advanced Training Program on Labor Relations", with over 30 outstanding teachers from Trade Union University and union cadres from local trade unions and industrial parks participating. Professor Jiang Ying presented a three-day lecture on labor relations theory and China's Labor Law, introducing in detail the changes and adjustments in China's labor relations, the development of China's labor legislation, and answering many questions raised by the trainees. The training was lively and interactive, and the content was highly rated by the participants
This training is the first time that the CULR has sent experts to lecture at the Trade Union University since the establishment of a partnership. The Vietnamese side is highly appreciative of this initiative. The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and the President of the Trade Union University attended the opening and closing ceremonies and delivered speeches, expressing their gratitude for the CULR's support and expressing their desire to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges in the training of trade union cadres.
