At the invitation of the School of Safety Engineering, a delegation of two from Steinbeis University led by Professor A. Jovanovic visited the CULR on January 10, 2013. Professor Meng Yanhua, Director of the School of Safety Engineering, exchanged research content and related results with visitors in the fields of safety science and technology, risk control, occupational health and other fields. German experts also introduced the basic situation and current progress of the "SafeChina" project.
Steinbeis University is a state-standard university located in the state of Berlin. There are currently more than 4,000 students and a team of 900 teachers and 1,100 project counselors. The school has a number of permanent basic majors such as artistic behavior, business management, trade marketing, information product marketing management, recyclable energy materials, practical physical technology related to science and technology, imaging laser and optoelectronics technology, industrial business management, media marketing and operation. Steinbeis Advanced Venture Technology and Steinbeis University launched the “SafeChina” project in 2010 with funding from the European Union. The project aims to promote the understanding of advanced management concepts and technical methods of the European Union in relevant fields in China, and to help improve the safety of production and environmental conditions in China.
