From September 9 to 17, at the invitation of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations, 3 teachers and 11 graduate students of the Class 2013 of the CULR conducted a study exchange visit to ATISO.
Ms. Kuzmina, President of the ATISO and Vice President of the Russian Federation of Independent Trade Unions, received the delegation. She first warmly welcomed the CULR teacher and student delegation, and introduced the basic situation of the ATISO and the main contents of the ninth plenary meeting of the Russian Federation of Independent Trade Unions. The CULR delegation thanked the Russian hosts for their warm reception and had a comprehensive exchange on the training of graduate students and topics of common concern between the two universities.
During the visit, a number of senior professors from the ATISO, including Shaukov, Sharkov, Gladkov, Ivanov, and Gonzalov, gave special lectures on the Russian trade union system, social relations, labor legislation, trade union activities, human resource markets, and other aspects. Through these lectures and seminars, members of our delegation have gained a new understanding of the theory and current situation of Russia's social status, economic development, trade union construction and other aspects.
During the exchange, the delegation visited the Russian Trade Union Museum and held a discussion with Mr. Yevseyev, curator of the Trade Union Museum. The ATISO is a friendly unviersity with the CULR based on agreement.
This is the first visit of the CULR graduate students to Russia, which further strengthens the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.
